Folk on Wight

Brian Reeves, one of the side's founding members, has recently published a very interesting book on the history of the folk music and dance scene on the Isle of Wight over the past 50-plus years.

It's a personal view, full of reminiscences and experiences from a lifetime of enthusiastic involvement.

It's not just words, it's full of photos, old posters, songs, music, and just about everyone Brian has encountered, as well as many he's not, are mentioned by name.

If you've ever had anything to do with folk music or dance on the Island then you're probably in it!

Brian has also recorded a CD on which he sings the songs mentioned in the book, accompanied by a number of local Island musicians.
